A ready-made website platform that lets you build a site with drag and drop, no coding required. Pick a template, change the text, publish: hosting, SSL and your own address included.
What Problem Does It Solve?
Most small businesses, shopkeepers and freelancers still exist online only as a social media account. The reason is usually the same: hiring an agency is expensive, and building a site yourself is intimidating because of things like domains, hosting, SSL and design.
BirSitem cuts that process down to three steps:
- Pick a ready-made template that fits your industry.
- Click on the text to change it, and drag sections to reorder them.
- Hit "Publish".
Hosting, an SSL certificate and your own address in the form isletmeniz.birsitem.com are included in the package. Anyone who wants to can connect their own domain.
What Does It Offer?
- Drag-and-drop editor: Ready-made sections are added with a click, and text is edited directly on the page.
- Templates and themes: Colors, fonts and corner rounding change with a single click.
- Contact tools: A contact form and inbox, WhatsApp and call buttons, a map, opening hours.
- Posts: A separate admin panel for publishing blog posts, news and announcements.
- Legal texts: The KVKK (Turkey's personal data protection law) notice and terms of use can be edited by the site owner, and consent checkboxes can be added to forms.
- Custom domain: Once the DNS record is in place, the SSL certificate is set up automatically.
What Technologies Does It Run On?
Front end and server: Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript. Customer sites are rendered on the server and cached; when content changes, only that site's cache is refreshed.
Editor: Built on the open-source Puck. Blocks are typed components, and none of the editor's code ships with the page visitors see.
Database: PostgreSQL on Supabase. Multi-tenant data isolation with row-level security (RLS); plan limits are enforced at the database level.
Multi-tenant routing: Each site runs on its own subdomain or on the customer's own domain; requests are routed to the right site in middleware.
Content written by users is never stored as HTML anywhere. Post bodies are kept as structured data and re-validated on the server, which closes off the entire class of XSS vulnerabilities by design.
Priorities
- Speed: The goal for customer sites is a high Lighthouse score, on mobile too. Animations are done with CSS rather than JavaScript.
- Simplicity: The editor was designed with someone who isn't tech-savvy in mind.
- Trust: Two-factor authentication and an audit log on the admin side.
